Our Virtual Dementia Cafés
The Virtual Dementia Café is part of Engaging Dementia’s establishment of a National Dementia Café Network. The Virtual Dementia Café takes place on the first Friday of each month at 11am. People living with dementia, their families and friends, healthcare professionals, and people who are interested in supporting a dementia inclusive community, are all welcome to attend.
Our Rainbow Virtual Café was launched mid-2022 and takes place online on the last Friday of each month at 11am. This is a welcoming space for older persons within the LGBT+ community , as well as family supporters, healthcare workers and proactive allies. Our guest speakers each month are specialists in the LGBT+ community, and we are delighted at the support we have received for this event to date.
